Falcons Set to Host Third Ball Hockey Challenge

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today they will host their third Ball Hockey Challenge of the off-season when they take on the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 7 on Thursday, August 26 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm at the outdoor rink at Amelia Park in Westfield.

Prior to the game that evening, Falcons mascot "Screech" will join forces with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 7 to make a food donation to the Westfield Food Pantry. The Westfield Food Pantry is located at 101 Meadow Street in Westfield. The Falcons have been accepting donations of non-perishable food items during the summer at previous ball hockey games, while the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 7 have also been executing their own food drive this summer.

The Falcons will also be hosting their fourth annual "Falcons Summer Barbeque" on Wednesday, August 25 from 5-8 PM at the West Springfield/Agawam Elks located on 429 Morgan Road in West Springfield. The event is an exclusive barbeque for ticket package holders and corporate partners.

The Falcons continue to offer a variety of affordable season ticket packages for the 2010-2011 campaign. Ticket plans range from all 40 home games to a selection of mini plans including 22 and 12 game plans. The Falcons also offer Flex Packs in denominations of 40 games and 10 games.
