Falcons Player Notes Through Week 2

Springfield Falcons News Release


* Taylor Chorney collected one goal and one assist on 10-9-09 at Adirondack bringing his season totals to two goals and three assists for five points. Chorney has registered at least a point in three of the Falcons' four games and he is currently second in the league in scoring among defensemen.

* Charles Linglet collected two assists on 10-10-09 at Hartford giving him one goal and four assists in four games this year.

* Ryan Potulny had back-to-back multi-point games this past weekend collecting one goal and one assist on both Friday in Adirondack and Saturday in Hartford. Potulny is tied for the team lead in scoring with two goals and three assists for five points in four games.

* Ryan Potulny, Chris Minard, Taylor Chorney and Charles Linglet are all tied for the Springfield team lead in scoring with five points each.

* Defenseman Chris Armstrong scored a power play goal and added one assist on 10-10-09 at Hartford. Armstrong has one goal and three assists in four games, including two multi-point games.

* Goaltender Devan Dubnyk has started all four games for the Falcons and currently leads the league in minutes played with 219 and saves with 138.

* Liam Reddox played in his 200th career pro game on 10-10-09 at Hartford.
