Springfield Falcons News Release
Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today they have made some internal front office changes including: promoting Garrett Nolan to Manager of Ticket Operations, hiring Jason Gonet as Manager of Game Night Operations & Promotions/Sales Associate and hiring Sales Associates Mike Mitchell, Kyle Bousquet and Brent Bousquet.
"This is a big year for this franchise and we have made a couple of internal changes and increased our staff to assist us in our goal of increasing attendance and enhancing the game night experience for our fans," said Falcons President and General Manager Bruce Landon.
Nolan, who graduated from the University of Massachusetts Sport Management Program in 2003, has spent the previous three seasons as the Falcons Ticket Coordinator where he was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day ticket operations for the Falcons. This included tracking all ticket inventories, acting as a liaison between the Falcons and the MassMutual Center Box Office and preparing financial reports with respect to ticket sales. In addition, Nolan is involved in the selling of ticket packages and group tickets.
"We need to increase ticket sales and Garrett Nolan has been promoted to Manager of Ticket Operations and will oversee our season ticket and group sales departments," said Landon. "Garrett has been a valuable employee who has learned the business from the ground up starting as an intern several years ago. He has a keen understanding of ticket sales and the ticket sales process and will report directly to Mike Thompson, our VP of Sales and Marketing."
Gonet, who is a native of Springfield, MA, recently earned an Associates Degree in Communications from Holyoke Community College and originally started with the Falcons as a game night operations intern in 2002.
"Jason Gonet took over our game night operations at mid-season last year and did an outstanding job," said Landon. "We look forward to having Jason now working full time for us in the important area of game night entertainment."
The Falcons are currently accepting deposits on full, half, and 10-game season ticket packages for the 2006-07 season, in addition to 40 and 10-Flex Packs. For more information regarding season ticket information, contact the Falcons office at 413-739-3344.
