Falcons Announce First American Hockey League Signing for 2015-16 Season

Springfield, MA: Today the Springfield Falcons have announced that goaltender Tyler Beskorowany has signed an American Hockey League contract.

Beskorowany, 25, returns to the AHL after playing last season in the German Elite League with Duesseldorf EG. The six-foot-five netminder posted 26 wins; third most in the league, a 2.53 goals against average and a .923 save percentage that was tied for fifth-best in the league. Beskorowany last played in North America during the 2013-14 season with stints in the ECHL; San Francisco and Orlando, and the AHL with St. John's. While with the IceCaps, he went 7-2-2 with a 2.20 goals against average and a .932 save percentage in 12 games played. The Sudbury, Ontario native also has 41 games played between two seasons with the Texas Stars from 2010-2012. Beskorowany was drafted in the second round, 59th overall, by the Dallas Stars in 2008.
