
Extreme extends dance team deadline

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The deadline to tryout for the Bloomington Extreme indoor football dance team has been extended until Wednesday, Jan. 31.
The tryouts will be Saturday, Feb. 3, from noon until 3 p.m. at the Workout Company, 419 Kays Drive, Normal.
Participants must be 18 to 27 years of age and have a high school diploma or G.E.D. obtained by June 3, 2007. Team members also will be required to attend all rehearsals, games and related functions.
Participants also must complete an application, sign a waiver and release form, along with submitting a $15 non-refundable audition fee and photo, which will be used for identification purposes only.
The audition will consist of a warm-up, technique routine, short combination and interview. Participants are advised to wear two-piece attire (i.e. sports bra or dance/athletic crop top and shorts or hot pants) and dance shoes. Participants also should bring a snack and water bottle.
All audition material including the application, waiver, release form, audition fee and photo should be sent to U.S. Cellular Coliseum, 101 S. Madison Street, Bloomington, 61701. For more information call 309-434-2691.
