Express names Stevenson Director of Marketing and Media

Newark, NJ. The ABA Newark Express professional basketball organization has named Brian Stevenson as the Director of Marketing & Media Relations. Stevenson graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1983 and received the prestigious Marvin Feldman Alumni Award ten years later for his outstanding achievements in business related industries.

Brian has accumulated over 20 years of experience in the entertainment and event planning business. He brings significant marketing and media relations experience that is backed by a solid record of achievement. He helps his clients create, plan and coordinate targeted companies with brand initiatives and campaigns that promote a specific image for the artist, event or project.

Before the music and entertainment industry, Brian was a veteran of the Fashion and Special Event Industry with 10 years of experience. His accomplishments include: The New York PRET, the Designers Collective and New York Fabric Show, and numerous international special events. He then moved into the entertainment industry where he held the title of Senior Director of Media Relations, 550Music/Epic Record Group for more than 10 years. His extensive press campaigns included: Celine Dion, Jill Scott, Ginuwine, Jon B, Michael Jackson and Luther Vandross to name a few.

Four years ago he stated MEDIAAH!, a hands-on full service company offering personalized expertise in Media Relations, Marketing and Brand Development. From music, art and film, MEDIAAH! covers it. Among his client list are Museum of African American Music, Motown Museum & Foundation, Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District, National Hip Hop Political Convention and Luther Campbell-Music Icon.
