Express names Darryl Dawkins head coach

Newark, NJ. The ABA Newark Express professional basketball team announced its choice for head coach for the upcoming season. After some negotiations, a mutual agreement was made between both parties and the decision is final: NBA Legend Darryl Dawkins will lead the Newark Express on an amazing ride this season in Newark.
Mr. Dawkins has over 13 years experience in the NBA and is infamous for his rim rocking slam-dunks, and backboard shattering antics. Also known as "Chocolate Thunder," Darryl brings an infectious personality to Newark and we are proud to introduce him as one of our own.
Coach Dawkins began instantaneously to prepare for the final tryout which is scheduled for Saturday, October 22nd at the home site of the Newark Express, Essex County College. Training camp is scheduled to begin directly after the final tryout. Quoting co-owner Jacqueline Halyard, "We are inviting some young men to come directly to training camp by the end of the day. It is crunch time for us. It's time for the pieces of the puzzle to gel together." Marsha Blount added, "Dawkins will bring something special to the city of Newark and we are happy to have him with us in our Inaugural Season."
A Press Conference is scheduled for next week to officially announce the signing of Head Coach Darryl Dawkins and his coaching staff. Also scheduled is the naming of some key players to the team and the partnership groups of the Newark Express.
