
Explosive Second Quarter Sinks Warriors in Buffalo

BUFFALO NY - An eight-goal second quarter propelled the hometown Buffalo Bandits to a 16-10 win over the Vancouver Warriors in NLL action on Friday night in Eastern New York.
The Bandits peppered the Warriors with 21 shots in the second, chasing Vancouver goaltender Aaron Bold, who allowed nine goals on 21 shots. Eric Penney mopped up and was solid in relief.
Mitch Jones made his return to Buffalo memorable. The former Bandit lit up his former team with three goals and five assists for an eight-point night.
The Warriors are now 1-2 on the season and will head to Gwinnett Georgia for their next game, a road duel with the Georgia Swarm on January 5th. Opening faceoff is at 4 PM Pacific.
