Explosion End the Season with a Heartbreak loss

Monroe, WA - A season in Monroe comes to an end. The Central Oregon Hotshots rallied from an 11 point fourth quarter deficit to knock off the host Explosion on Friday. Chris Nixon led all scorers with 30 points, including seven 3-pointers for the Chinooks. Rashaad Powell's 27 points paced Snohomish County.

With the upset win from the Hotshots some Explosion players did not get a chance to say goodbye to the fans so most of the Explosion Key players will be back for the IBL All Star Game on Sunday. Donald Watts who will end his professional basketball career this year will be on hand for one last game as an All-Star this Sunday and will be coached by his father "Slick" Watts on the North squad. Guest Shawn Kemp will also be playing for the North Squad.

Tickets are available for this great event at 425 339-BALL (2255) Get tickets for the Semi-final games on Saturday, June 28th at 5pm and 7:30pm (PST). The IBL North/South All-Star Game, 3-Point Shoot-out and Slam Dunk Contest will be followed by the Western Conference Championship game on Sunday, June 29th. The All-Star Classic will tip-off at Noon (12pm PST) followed by the Championship game at 2:30pm on Sunday.
