Exit 76 antique mall joins ABA free cell phone program
September 27, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) and its strategic partner, Vuico LLC today announced that the world famous Exit 76 Antique Mall located in Edinburgh, Indiana has joined them to offer Free Cell Phones to its customers.
According to Nic Nicosen, Exit 76 Antique Mall General Manager, "We are definitely fans of the ABA and are very enthusiastic about this program and what it will mean for our customers. When we saw it on the ABA website, our first thought was how could we take advantage of it? The ABA has made it possible for us to offer a free cell phone to every purchaser of an antique from us. We are very excited."
Joe Newman, ABA CEO added, "I've known Nic and the owners, Albert Skaggs and Norm Schlemmer, for several years. Their antique mall is legend with tens of thousands of customers every month from all over the US. This is a great incentive to visit the mall and to buy antiques...and you're rarely seen anything like this particular place."
Exit 76 Antique Mall is located just north of I-65 and Exit 76 in Edinburgh, Indiana. It features 72,000 sq. ft of antiques of every type with over 500 booths and hundreds of thousands of antiques. There are few malls in the country quite like it. (www.exit76antiques.com).
Vui Le, CEO of Vuico LLC stated, "I'd like to apologize to the thousands of people who visited the ABAmobile.com site last week to order their free cell phones only to find the system down. A combination of too heavy traffic plus the technical problems caused by Hurricane Rita caused serious interruptions in service. We have remedied them and hope that people will try again."
For details of how to get your free cell phone at the Exit 76 Antique Mall, call 812 526 7676 or visit www.exit76antiques.com or visit www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
