Joliet JackHammers News Release

JOLIET, IL-The Joliet JackHammers and Texas Roadhouse are pleased to announce a partnership agreement for the 2009 season. Texas Roadhouse will sponsor all JackHammers strikeouts this season at Silver Cross Field.

Every time a JackHammers pitcher records a strikeout, fans can follow along with the public address announcer as he builds excitement in anticipation of seven JackHammer strikeouts. When the JackHammers reach that seven strikeout mark, fans can take their ticket stub to any one of three area Texas Roadhouse restaurants: Joliet, (3151 Tonti Drive); Naperville, (2856 Patriot's Lane); and Tinley Park, (18345 LaGrange Road); for a free baby blossom appetizer. The JackHammers 2009 season begins at home on Friday, May 15 at 7:05 p.m. against the Schaumburg Flyers at Silver Cross Field in Joliet City Center.

Fans with the lucky ticket stub can exchange their vouchers at any one of the three locations. The offer is good for one week from the date of game with one ticket being honored at each table per visit.

"The JackHammers and Texas Roadhouse are both about family fun," said JackHammers Executive Vice President/General Manager Kelly Sufka. "With our improved pitching staff, we expect plenty of games where folks can use their tickets to satisfy their appetite!"

Texas Roadhouse opened its doors in 1993. In just 17 years, the company has grown to more than 325 locations in 46 states. In 2006, readers of a national magazine voted Texas Roadhouse as the top concept in the Pub/Grill category, and Forbes magazine ranked the company as one of the 200 Best Small Companies.

The JackHammers currently have full season seats, mini-plan packages, various group outings, affordable marketing opportunities and individual game tickets available for the 2009 season.
