
Excitement Returns to Community First Park on Friday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (July 29, 2015) - Known for its high-energy atmosphere on match nights, Community First Park will be rocking again at 7:30 p.m. this Friday when the Jacksonville Armada FC return to host Minnesota United FC in North American Soccer League action, presented by Winn-Dixie.
The Armada will try to duplicate the drama from their recent 1-0 win over top NASL team New York Cosmos on July 18. Englewood High School and Jacksonville University alumnus Tommy Krizanovic tapped in the winning goal in the 54th minute on a Jaime Castrillón header, while goalkeeper David Sierra recorded seven saves in the shutout.
Prior to the match, fans are being invited to join the Armada FC and Winn-Dixie Food Drive in giving hunger a swift kick by bringing an unopened, unexpired food item to either entrance gate. All items collected will benefit the Feeding Northeast Florida food bank. In exchange for their donation, fans will be given a voucher for a buy one, get one ticket to the Armada's match against the Carolina RailHawks at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at Community First Park. Winn-Dixie will also be giving away a reusable shopping bag to the first 2,500 fans.
Feeding Northeast Florida CEO Bruce Ganger will raise the Armada Flag, and Winn-Dixie District Manager Bobby Holton will join team captains and officials at midfield for the coin toss prior to kickoff.
The Armada Matchday Experience outside the stadium will be taking place from 5:30-7 p.m. and includes:

The Armada's traditional "March to the Match," led by supporters group Section 904, will start from Lot P at 7 p.m. All fans are encouraged to join the march to get into the stadium in good time prior to the 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
Pre-match, the Armada cannons will be fired, smoke released and Kraken introduced. Halftime will feature a number of spectacular soccer-style promotions including the Winn-Dixie Bubble Battle, Brumos Grand Prix, Subway Tailgater of the Match and Moe's T-Shirt Toss. As usual, the Armada players will sign autographs at pitch-side immediately following the match.
