 Amarillo Venom News Release
Amarillo, TX 2/10/11 - The Amarillo Venom is pleased to announce that former Dallas Cowboy Everson Walls will join Drew Pearson in a special meet and greet with Venom fans prior to the Venom's February 20th exhibition game against the Allen Wranglers.
The Venom announced a couple of weeks ago that former Cowboy Drew Pearson would be in attendance for the February 20th game, but now there will be two former Dallas Cowboy greats in attendance.
Walls played 12 seasons in the National Football League, nine of which were played with the Dallas Cowboys. Walls was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and was named First-Team All-Pro in 1983. He started 171 games and finished his career with 57 interceptions, which is tied for eleventh all-time.
Joe Morgado, the team's General Manager, said this is an amazing opportunity for Venom fans.
"What an opportunity for our fans," said Morgado, "a chance to meet two great Dallas Cowboy football players. I am glad Drew and Everson will be here and I'm pleased we were able to give our fans this opportunity."
The special meet and greet session requires a special V.I.P pass which can be obtained through the Venom front offices located at 901 S. Buchanan. Season tickets are still available and will include the meet and greet, as well as the other great season ticket holder benefits. For tickets and more information call the Venom office at (806) 350-7277.
