Evansville's Matt Lundin Named Oakley CHL Goaltender of the Week

TEMPE, AZ (November 16, 2010) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Evansville's Matt Lundin has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the period ending November 14, 2010.

The Apple Valley, Minnesota native won all three starts during the week allowing just five goals and stopping more than 37 shots per game. He started the week making 38 saves in Mississippi while helping his team to a 5-2 win. He then played back-to-back home games beating both Arizona and Fort Wayne turning away 39 of 40 shots versus the Sundogs and 35 of 37 shots versus the Komets.

On the season, Lundin is 5-2-1 with a 2.63 goals against average and a .919 save percentage and Evansville is tied for third in the Turner Conference with a 6-5-1 record..
