The Evansville defense continues to be on an impressive run as the BlueCats enter the Playoffs. Evansville held Sioux Falls to only 33 points last week, which represented the third lowest point output for the Storm this season. Evansville finished the season rated #5 in points allowed as they gave up an average of 39.9 points per game. Aaron Leak had one of his best passing performances of the season last week as he threw for 187 yards and one touchdown. Omaha is playing dominant football as well entering the playoffs. The Beef have won two in a row to secure the leagues top wild-card spot. Their 39-point victory last week represented their second highest margin of victory of the season. The Beef defense finished ranked #2 in the league for least points allowed. The Beef only allowed 33.2 points per game this season. The Beef and the BlueCats split their season series with one win apiece with the home team winning each game.
