Evansville Rage Take on the Kentucky Xtreme

(Evansville, Ind. March 7, 2012) - The Evansville Rage will take on the Kentucky Xtreme in the team's second preseason game on March 9, 2012. This, and all Rage home games, will be played on Clarion field at Swonder Ice Arena. The game will be a tune up to prepare the Rage for the upcoming 2012 CIFL regular season.

"The Xtreme will give us a great look ahead to what's to come," says Head Coach Mike Goodpastor, he continues, "We played a great game last week but we need to keep it up to prepare for the season. We hope the fans come out to support us. We are here for them."

To show fans the team's appreciation, preseason tickets are four dollars off the regular season ticket price and are on sale for $8.50. Tickets can be purchased via Swonder's Box Office. More ticket information can be found at

The Kentucky Xtreme plays in the Interstate Football League and will call Louisville home for their first season. The team plans for bigger and better things; they plan to join the Rage as members of the CIFL in 2013.

Victor Cole, Head Coach, stated "We are looking to give the Rage a great game and all the challenge they can handle. We will be joining them in the CIFL next year and this will be a great gauge to see how we will do. Our guys are up to the challenge; we have some guys with arena experience and they are ready to play!"

The battle against the Kentucky Xtreme on March 9 will be the Rage's last preseason game. Regular season play begins March 17, when the Rage will face the Indianapolis Enforcers.
