A graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, Jason McDonald spent the past 20 years as an engineer in Chicago. He has enjoyed photography since he was a child and only got serious about it about five years ago. Favorite subjects include nature and travel. But his true passion lies with sports. In his own words, Jason enjoys capturing "the motion and E-motion of sports".

In late 2011, Jason relocated to Evansville with his wife, Laura, who happens to be the Athletic Trainer for the Rage. He now spends his days as a project manager with a local contractor and is excited and proud to be team photographer for the 2012 Evansville Rage . His goals are to capture the best football photos he can for the players and the fans alike. Jason believes everyone can take great photos.
