
Rage Welcome Official Team Photographer, JSA McDonald Photography

(Evansville, Ind. March, 2012) - The Evansville Rage are proud to announce Jason McDonald as the team's official photographer. McDonald will be at all home games taking shots of our boys in purple throughout the year. He has been a in love with photography since he was a child but this will be his first time as a team's official photographer. His wife, Laura, also joins the team as its Athletic Trainer.
General Manager Eddie Cronin says, "We are glad to have him aboard. I can tell he is going to be a great addition to the team. He shows great enthusiasm and his photos are second to none," Cronin continues, "I can't wait to see what kind of pictures he comes up with on a weekly basis. The team is very lucky to have found him!"
McDonald shares, "My small role in this story is that I am an avid sports photographer and I wanted to be even just a little part of this new team." He goes on to say, "I have enjoyed watching and learning about the business of building a new team. I have watched how different people react to the stress of making it all come together." McDonald will be ready to capture the action at the The Rage's regular season opener on March 17 on Clarion Inn field at Swonder Ice Arena. The Rage will battle the Indianapolis Enforcers. ABOUT JASON MCDONALD
A graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, Jason McDonald spent the past 20 years as an engineer in Chicago. He has enjoyed photography since he was a child and only got serious about it about five years ago. Favorite subjects include nature and travel. But his true passion lies with sports. In his own words, Jason enjoys capturing "the motion and E-motion of sports".
In late 2011, Jason relocated to Evansville with his wife, Laura, who happens to be the Athletic Trainer for the Rage. He now spends his days as a project manager with a local contractor and is excited and proud to be team photographer for the 2012 Evansville Rage . His goals are to capture the best football photos he can for the players and the fans alike. Jason believes everyone can take great photos.
