Evansville Rage Announces New Signings

(Evansville, Ind. February 1, 2012) The Evansville Rage would like to announce the Offensive Linemen going into training camp. We have signed five O-Linemen to fight in the trenches against some of the best talent in indoor football. Our linemen average 6'3" tall and averages 322lbs.

Zachery Slagle, from The Ohio State University, comes to camp weighing 325lbs with a height of 6'3". Zach was a part of two national championship teams and the 2009 Rose Bowl champions. Zach played high school football for Canton McKinley where he played in the Big 33 All-Star game! Zachery says, "I am excited about being a part of an organization debuting in the Evansville area, I am excited about the guys I will be playing next to and with as we will be the best team in the CIFL and all of indoor ball."

Trent Marlow, out of Grand Rapids Community College, comes into camp at 6'4" and 360 pounds. He previously played for the Dayton Silverbacks, Ohio Valley Greyhounds, Marion Mayhem and the UFL Las Vegas Locomotives where he learned from Jim Fassal. Trent runs a 5.0 forty and benches 225lbs 50 times. Trent also fights Mixed Martial Arts with a record of ten wins zero losses.

Matt Money played football for Hanover, where he 2nd team Division 3 All-American by D3proday.com. He weighs in at a slim 295lbs and is 6'3" tall.

Andre Starks, who went to Missouri Valley, comes to the Rage camp weighing in at 315lbs and being 6'2" tall.

Steve Platz comes all the way down from Winsdor, Canada where he played football for the Windsor Lancers in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (Their version of the NCAA). He weighs in at 143kg (315lbs) and 193cm( 6'4") tall!

The Rage plays in the CIFL and play their first home game March 3rd against the Northern Kentucky Bulldogs of the Heartland Football League.
