Etienne Brodeur, Anton Zlobin and Andrej Nestrasil named TELUS three stars of the week

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League today announced the TELUS three stars of the week of Monday, March 14th to Sunday, March 20th, 2011.

The first star is awarded to left winger Etienne Brodeur of the Lewiston MAINEiacs. Having been twice named the first star in road games, Brodeur has collected five points, two goals and two assists. In addition, he maintained a +3 rating. This is not the first time Brodeur has been named the first star this season. He received the same honour for games played between November 1st and 7th and was also named the TELUS first star of the month for November 2010. Moreover, he is the leading scorer in the league with 53 goals in 68 games.

The second star is awarded to Anton Zlobin, left winger with the Shawinigan Cataractes. Zlobin got two goals and an assist during the game against the Val-d'Or Foreurs, last Saturday. In all, he scored 4 goals and got 6 points in two games played.

The third star is awarded to Prague native, right winger, Andrej Nestrasil of the PEI Rocket. He got 6 points and 6 assists in 3 games.
