
Erie's Mike James Re-Signs with Chicago Bulls

NEW YORK, Feb. 14, 2012 - The Chicago Bulls today signed guard Mike James of the Erie BayHawks for the 25th GATORADE Call-Up of the 2011-12 NBA Development League season. James joins more than 90 NBA Players with NBA D-League experience currently on 2011-12 rosters.
In seven games with the BayHawks this season, James (6-2, 190, Duquesne) averaged 21.1 points, 4.6 assists and 3.7 rebounds in 37.7 minutes. He has scored more than 20 points in five games, including an NBA D-League career-high 28 points in a 128-118 loss to the Dakota Wizards on Feb. 12.
James returns to the Bulls having earned a GATORADE Call-Up to the team on Jan. 11 and appearing in three games, averaging 4.0 points, 3.7 assists and 1.0 rebounds in 8.3 minutes. He holds NBA career averages of 10.4 points, 3.6 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 25.1 minutes. His best season came in 2005-06 season with the Toronto Raptors, when he averaged 20.3 points, 5.8 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 79 games, all starts.
James is expected to join the Bulls today and be available when the hosts the Sacramento Kings tonight.
