----- Today, the SeaWolves look to avoid a series sweep as they take on the Reading Phillies (Philadelphia Phillies) in the final game of a four-game set at First Energy Stadium. Last night, the SeaWolves once again could not come up with a big hit with runners in scoring position (3-for-12) as they left 11 on base in a 2-1 loss. Erie is at a new low-water mark at 22 games under .500...Niuman Romero is tied for fourth all-time in SeaWolves history with 149 hits. Romero is now 15 hits shy of passing Omar Infante's team record of 163 hits in 2001...Today, lefty Ramon Garcia takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 21st appearance, 20th start and second start against the Phillies. Garcia took a loss in his only other start against Reading on May 4. Garcia took a no-decision in his last start against Akron on August 21. In the game, he allowed a run on six hits with three walks and six strikeouts in five innings of work. Erie won the game 3-2 on a walkoff home run by Tony Plagman in the ninth...RHP Brody Colvin takes the mound for the Phillies making his sixth start and first against the SeaWolves. Colvin took a no-decision in his last start at Harrisburg on August 21. In the game, he allowed five runs on seven hits with four walks and no strikeouts in five innings of work. Colvin began the season with Class-A Clearwater where he made 23 appearances and 18 starts, posting a 5-6 record and 4.27 ERA.
