Tonight, the SeaWolves look to bounce back from a tough defeat on Tuesday night as they take on the Reading Fightin Phils (Philadelphia Phillies) in the third game of a four-game series at First Energy Stadium. Last night, the SeaWolves and Fightins had an offensive showdown that featured five lead changes and resulted with Reading taking the second game of the series 11-9 courtesy of a game-winning grand slam in the bottom of the ninth off the bat of Rhys Hoskins... Today, Anthony Fernandez takes the mound for Erie making his second start and first against Reading. Fernandez took a no-decision in his season debut in his last start against Richmond of May 20. In the game, he allowed a run on four hits with two walks and three strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work. Erie lost the game 6-1... Lefty Anthony Vasquez takes the mound for Reading making his ninth start. Vasquez has registered a decision in all eight of his starts. He snapped a two-game slide with a win in his last start against Bowie on May 19. In the game, he tossed seven shutout innings, allowing four hits with two walks and five strikeouts.
