MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Toronto Blue Jays have announced the New Hampshire Fisher Cats latest roster move.

LHP Matt Dermody has been promoted to New Hampshire from Advanced-A Dunedin.

RHP John Stilson has been placed on the 7-Day Disabled List (retroactive to May 22).

Dermody, a 25-year-old from Norwalk, Iowa, made his Double-A debut last night in Trenton against the Thunder (Yankees affiliate). He threw two scoreless innings, allowing a pair of hits and recording a strikeout. Dermody did not face MLB rehabber Alex Rodriguez in the Fisher Cats 3-2 extra-inning loss.

In 16 relief outings in Dunedin, Dermody posted a 1-1 record with a 1.96 ERA. In 18.1 innings, he struck out 20 batters and issued just one walk. He was selected by the Blue Jays in the 28th round of the 2013 draft out of the University of Iowa.

The Fisher Cats return home on Friday, May 27 for a four-game Memorial Day Weekend series with the first-place Reading Fightin' Phils (Phillies affiliate).
