ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...
Tonight, the SeaWolves continue their road trip as they begin a three-game series at Metro Bank Park against the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals). The Howlers and Senators were rained out on Monday night and they game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, June 28, beginning at 2 p.m. It was the third road rainout for the âWolves this season...The SeaWolves are coming off of a weekend series sweep at Altoona and the club looks for its third four-game winning streak of the season. The current three-game road winning streak is a season best for the âWolves...Erie enters tonight's game in a second place tie with Reading, four games behind first place Akron, while Harrisburg sits in last place in the South, 13.5 games out of first. The âWolves swept the Senators in a four-game series April 23-26 at Jerry Uht Park. Harrisburg is the only team Erie's owns a winning record against in three consecutive seasons. Harrisburg won the 2005 season series 10-7...Lefty Jon Kibler takes the mound tonight for the âWolves, making his fifth start of the season and first against the Senators. Kibler took a no-decision in his last outing against Bowie tossing a season-best six innings, allowing four runs on seven hits with three walks and a strikeout. Erie trailed by a pair of runs heading into the ninth but tied the game and won in 11 innings...Kibler will be opposed by lefty Ross Detwiler. He makes his fifth start of the season and second against Erie. He took a no-decision in his last start against Akron. On April 23 against Erie, Detwiler gave up three runs, two earned, on six hits in 4.2 innings and he took the loss.
