Eric Northrup Receives Week 10 Player of the Week Honors

Cincinnati, OH-The Cincinnati Swarm of arenafootball2 are proud to announce that Ryle High School Junior Eric Northrup is the Swarm Two-Way High School Player of the Week for Week 10. Northrup is a quarterback/defensive end for the Raiders, who hold a 4-5 recording heading into this weekend.

In Ryle's 34-0 victory over Simon Kenton last Friday, Northrup accounted for five touchdowns. Northrup passed for four scores and ran for another on offense. On defense, Northrup made five tackles and intercepted a pass.

"He's a tremendous leader and one of the most competitive young men I've ever been around," said Ryle Head Coach Bryson Warner. "He wants to win at everything. He's a true role model for this school.

The Swarm will be honoring one player each week throughout the season as the best two-way player in the greater Cincinnati area. The honorees will be invited to attend a Swarm game next season where they will be honored in an on-field ceremony.
