Have you ever wanted to show up the men in your life with your football knowledge? The Columbus Lions are excited to announce a new event in 2016 just for the female fans to give them hands on football experience. The Lions will be hosting the first ever Women's Football 101 clinic on March 7th with the team's coaches and players. Women will be able to mingle with other ladies of the 9th Man Nation, and get some face to face time with Head Coach Jason Gibson. You'll get a locker room tour, and then it's time to get on the field and get down to the gridiron basics. The rules of arena football will be reviewed, and you will also get a breakdown of some of Coach Gibson's favorite plays. Plus, players will run football drills so you'll get a taste of what their practices are like for the Lions' season. A cheat sheet will be given to every woman so you'll never be lost during the game. Each woman also gets an official camp jersey to wear for the event, plus snacks and drinks after the clinic. Registration is just $30, and also includes a camp completion certificate and a photo with the coaches and players before heading home to show off your new football skills. Spots are limited, so register today and we'll see you on the turf in March!
