
Energy FC to Assist in LCDA Christmas Party this Saturday

OKLAHOMA CITY - This Saturday, December 5, Energy FC joins the Latin Community Development Association to take part in the 19th annual LCDA Christmas Party at U.S. Grant High School.
The event put on by LCDA allows low-income families, many from the greater Oklahoma City area the opportunity to celebrate the Christmas season, receive gifts for their children and spend time together to strengthen family ties.
"Our team is looking forward to being a part of this event with LCDA," said Energy FC co-owner Bob Funk Jr. "Our team is as much like a family as any. Taking an opportunity to share family time with members of our community, especially during the holidays is a fantastic experience for everyone."
Energy FC head coach Jimmy Nielsen, midfielder Daniel Gonzalez and defender Cyprian Hedrick join in the festivities during the day, will play soccer billiards with the families and assist in the distribution of gifts. Included in the gifts are 100 Energy FC soccer balls.
