The Albany Empire Sign DL Melik Owens and LB/FB Malcolm McCoy for the 2023 Season
Albany, NY: The Albany Empire announced today that the team has signed Defensive Lineman, Melik Owens and Linebacker/Fullback Malcolm McCoy for the 2023 National Arena League season. Owens played collegiately at Midwestern State from 2018-2022, where Melik went on to set multiple program records. McCoy played collegiately at Bowie State University from 2014-2018. After his time at Bowie State, McCoy most recently look his talents to the arena game with the Duke City Gladiators of the Indoor Football League.
