JOLIET, IL - The Joliet JackHammers are remembering Elvis Presley on what would have been his 75th birthday. It is only fitting that on this day the Orange Crush announces the appearance of Jerry "Elvis" Vegas at Silver Cross Field. Mr. Vegas will be performing on Friday, August 6, 2010 when the JackHammers take on the Schaumburg Flyers at 7:10pm.
Vegas is an Elvis tribute artist who resides in Bridgeview, IL and has been entertaining audiences since 1997. A member of the Professional Elvis Impersonators Association (PEIA), Mr. Vegas believes in "Takin' Care of Business-Elvis Style."
"Elvis was one of the greatest American entertainers of all time," said JackHammers General Manager Jamie Toole. "On his birthday, we would like to announce our âTribute to The King Night' coming to Silver Cross Field."
