Wenatchee (23-21) regained the lead in the top of the 4th inning as a pair of Bend Elks errors as Andre Real reached on a ground ball mishandled by Kyle Giusti, and Real came around to score on a throwing error by Seth Spivey, and Wenatchee took a 2-1 lead. Bend (25-16) would come back and rally in the bottom of the 6th inning as Tyler Servais, Derek Dixon, Cullen O'Dwyer, and Turner Gill had 4 consecutive singles, the one from Gill scoring Servais to make it 3-2. That was followed by a sacrifice fly from Kyle Giusti to score Dixon, and Landon Cray came through with an RBI single to score O'Dwyer as the Elks took a 4-3 lead after 6 innings and held onto it the rest of the way.

Kevin Hamann (2-1), Eric Melbostad, Cam Booser, and David Murrillo each pitched 1 full inning of relief for the Bend Elks in the second half of the game, combining to give up no runs on 3 hits, and striking out 4 to close out the game. Murrillo struck out 2, including AppleSox left fielder Brett Stephens, to close out the game and secure his 1st save of the summer.

The Bend Elks and Wenatchee AppleSox will conclude their 3 game series on Monday, first pitch set for 6:35 p.m. on Free Lunch Cooler night, presented by Q Group.
