The Bend Elks dropped their fifth straight game to the Victoria Harbour Cats on Friday by a score of 3-0 on Friday the the 13th at home in Bend. Elks pitchers continue to throw strong innings. Starter Kevin Hamann took the hard luck loss after throwing 5 innings while giving up only three hits and three runs. However two of the three runs were unearned due to two costly errors in the third inning. Kevin Sheets came in relieved Hamann in the Sixth, pitching 4 innings giving up only one hit and no runs. Elks bats reamin cold as the offense could only muster six hits while leaving 8 runners on base. Game two of the three game series continues Saturday night at vince Genna Stadium first pitch is at 6:35 PM,
