
Eighteen QMJHL Players On Team Quebec's Under-17 Roster

BOUCHERVILLE, Friday, November 13, 2009 - Hockey Quebec today unveiled the official roster of Team Quebec which will compete in the World Under-17 Championship in Timmins, Ontario from December 29 to January 4.
Eighteen Quebec Major Junior Hockey League players managed to crack Team Quebec's line-up.
"I would like to thank our organizations for giving our young players the opportunity to play in such a world-class competition," said the Commissioner of the QMJHL, Gilles Courteau. "The World Under-17 Championship represents an important step in the development of our hockey players. Finally, I would like to congratulate the players who were selected."
Moreover, four individuals from the QMJHL will be on the team's staff: Corrado Micalef (Assistant Coach - Rocket), Gilles Charron (Goaltenders Coach - Huskies), Francis Denis (Therapist - Juniors) and Jacques Carrier (Head Scout - Foreurs).
The Head Coach is former Drakkar bench boss Eric Dubois.
