Edmonton - The Edmonton Aviators suffered their first loss of the year tonight in Minnesota.

Rookie goaltender Nick Stankov made his debut for the Aviators as did forward Sipho Sibiya. The game was tied 1-0 at the half before the Thunder put it away with the 2-0 marker in the second.

"One big bright spot for us tonight was the play of Paul Dhaliwal. I thought he was excellent", said Ongaro.
