
Edinboro Standout Signs with the RiverRats for 2009

ERIE, PA - (1/28/09) The Erie RiverRats have signed Edinboro standout Seth Fragale. Fragale is a familiar face for Erie area football fans having played his college ball at Edinboro and starting his professional career with the Erie Freeze.
Fragale, (6'2", 235) played linebacker with the Erie Freeze in 2006 before spending the next two years playing professional football in the NFL International program in Italy. He was a standout linebacker at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where he garnered numerous accolades including the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year in back-to-back years in 2004 and 2005, and also would be named as a Football Gazette Honorable Mention All-American. In his rookie season with the Freeze in 2006, Fragale finished the season as the core of the defensive unit with 46 tackles, 4 sacks, 5 pass break ups, and three blocked field goals. Seth is currently a graduate assistant coach at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, yet already has a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a master's degree in Social Sciences. He resides in Edinboro while he finishes his teaching certification.
