St. John's, NL - The St. John's Edge announced today that the team has signed Congo native, Ted Kapita for the 2018-19 season.
Kapita, 6'8 219lbs is a product of North Carolina State University where he played just one year for the Wolfpack before declaring for the NBA Draft in 2017. In 28 games played, he averaged 4.35 points, 3.38 rebounds, and 12.6 minutes. Kapita shot 60.8% from the field (45-for-74) and 82.1% from the charity stripe (23-for-28).
Ted Kapita will suit up for the Edge starting tonight against the Halifax Hurricanes, with game time set for 7:00 PM. The St. John's Edge welcome Ted Kapita to the organization and look forward to him showing his talents to the dedicated fans at Mile One Centre.
