St. John's, NL - The St. John's Edge announced today that the club has signed New Orleans, Louisiana native Bryce Washington for the 2018-19 season.
Washington, 6'8", 245 pounds, comes to the Edge from University of Louisiana at Lafayette, an NCAA Division 1 program. In 2017-18 Washington appeared in 34 games for the Ragin' Cajuns.
In those 34 games he averaged 10.38 points, 10.47 rebounds, 2.12 assists, and 29.8 minutes. Washington shot .519 (137-for-264) from the floor and .642 (79-for-123) from the free throw line.
During his senior season, Bryce was named to the All-Sun Belt Conference First Team, as well as being a National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District (24) First Team selection.
