
Edge Place Junior Cadougan on Injured Reserve for Remainder of 2018-19

St. John's, NL - The St. John's Edge announced today that the club has placed Junior Cadougan on the Injured Reserve effective immediately.
The injury was suffered in the 3rd quarter of the Edge 101-92 win over the Sudbury Five in Game 5 of their series. Cadougan suffered an adductor Longus Rupture in his left groin/pelvic area.
Timetable for the injury has been set at 4-6 months, meaning Junior Cadougan will be forced out of action for the remainder of the 2018-19 postseason.
In 43 games played this season (including playoffs), Junior was averaging 13.2 points, 4.4 assists, and 4 rebounds, while playing 31.5 minutes. Cadougan was named this season's Most Improved Player by the NBL Canada, a Second Team All Canadian, and was the recipient of the Canadian Player of the Week Honour on three separate occasions.
