Bloomington Blaze News Release

The Bloomington Edge, presented by Heller Stores, announce the signing of three players for the upcoming season beginning in March.

Adam Kesler returns as a wide receiver after spending two previous seasons in Bloomington indoor football. The 5-10, 181-pound slot receiver played four years at Eastern Illinois University. "We are excited about getting Adam back because he has tremendous speed and quickness," said Edge head coach Kenton Carr. "He can help us stretch the field as a receiver and has the ability to take it to the house on a kick return."

Ray Krishock returns to the offensive line after his 2012 season was cut short by injury. "Ray was upset about missing the season, but he always came to practices and games and worked really hard to come back," said Carr. "He has good size and strength and we look forward to him being back with us helping the offensive line. He's not only a good football player but a great team guy and leader." The 6-6, 307-pound Krishock played four seasons at Illinois Wesleyan University and returns for his fourth season of indoor football in Bloomington.

Tim Duran comes to the Edge as a linebacker who played at West Virginia State University. Duran is 5-11 and 245 pounds. "I like having Tim with us because he a throwback kind of player that brings toughness and that nastiness you look for in a linebacker," said Carr. "With his experience in the Indoor Football League I have high expectations for Tim. He has a chance to be our leader on defense for sure."

The Edge begin play in the new Champions Professional Indoor Football League on March 15 at U.S. Cellular Coliseum against the Sioux City Bandits. Season tickets for the six home games are now available by calling 309-TC SPORT (827-7678).
