Edge Complete Trade with Windsor Express
St. John's, NL - The St. John's Edge and Windsor Express have completed a trade. The Edge will send the rights to Shaquille Keith to Express in exchange for the rights to Tyrrel Tate.
Tate was born in Calgary, Alberta and played collegiately at Fayetteville State in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Tate graduated from Fayetteville State in 2014 and has played in the NBA G-League, CEBL and the NBLC since. Last season with the Express, Tate had averages of 14.6ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.3apg while shooting, 48.3 FG% and 41.5 3FG%.
Head Coach Steve Marcus on the completed trade: "We'd like to thank Shaq for his time in St. John's, he was a big part of what we accomplished last season. When we found out he had interest in returning to Windsor we did not want to lose him for nothing. We are excited to acquire the rights to Tyrrel."
