St. John's, NL - With the Kitchener Waterloo Titans loss to the Halifax Hurricanes Tuesday evening, the St. John's Edge have officially clinched a berth in the 2018 National Basketball League of Canada Playoffs in their inaugural season.
"It's an outstanding accomplishment as an expansion team and our first year in the league. I am incredibly proud of our players, coaching staff, ownership and everyone that has helped us get to this point." Said Edge Head Coach and GM, Jeff Dunlap. "However, we are not done yet! We have more work to do to close out this season and prepare for the playoffs." With 18 wins and 11 losses on the season, the Edge still have 11 regular season games remaining with 8 of those on home court at Mile One Centre.

The St. John's Edge head home to Mile One Centre to take on Kitchen-Waterloo Titans to begin a six-game home-stand, Friday, March 2nd, Tip-off is 7:00 PM NST. All games will be streamed live on www.sjedge.ca.
