ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Thursday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Reading's Comrie fined, suspended

Reading's Adam Comrie has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Playoff Game #A-4, Toledo at Reading, on April 20.

Comrie is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as a result of spearing an opposing player off of the playing surface at 15:08 of the third period.

Comrie will miss Reading's playoff games at Toledo on April 22 and vs. Toledo on April 24.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Cincinnati's Noonan fined, suspended

Cincinnati's Garrett Noonan has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Playoff Game #G-3, Fort Wayne at Cincinnati, on April 20.

Noonan is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as the result of a reckless and careless high-sticking infraction at 11:33 of the third period.

Noonan will miss Cincinnati's playoff games against Fort Wayne on April 22 and April 23.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
