Eastern Conference Semifinals Tickets Go on Sale Monday

Springfield, Mass. - Tickets to see the Springfield Falcons compete in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference Semifinals of the 2013 Calder Cup Playoffs go on sale on Monday, May 6 at 9 a.m.

Fans can purchase tickets at the MassMutual Center Box Office, or through Ticketmaster.com.

The Falcons will host Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals at the MassMutual Center on either Friday, May 10 or Saturday, May 11 at 7 p.m. While the Falcons' schedule is unknown, Springfield is guaranteed to play either Game 1 or 2 of the series at home on Saturday, May 11. The Falcons will host a minimum of two and a maximum of four games in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The exact series schedule will be announced, when available, on FalconsAHL.com.

Springfied's opponent will either be the Hershey Bears or the Syracuse Crunch. The Falcons will learn the identity of their opponent on Wednesday night, when Hershey and Providence play Game 5 of the best-of-five Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. A Bruins victory would match the Falcons up with the Crunch. If the Bears win, Springfield will meet Hershey.

The Falcons defeated the Manchester Monarchs, 3-1, in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, becoming the second team in AHL history to win three games in overtime in a best-of-five series.
