San Jose Earthquakes News Release
The San Jose Earthquakes are back in action this weekend when they host Austin FC on Saturday, April 2, presented by Outseer. Kickoff from PayPal Park is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. PT and the match will be broadcast on NBC Sports California, KNBR 1050, and 1370 KZSF.
Earthquakes II, competing in the inaugural season of MLS NEXT Pro, will play their first-ever match on Wednesday, March 30 at Timbers2. PayPal Park to Host Friendly Between El Salvador and Guatemala on April 24
PayPal Park, home of the San Jose Earthquakes, will host a friendly match between the men's national teams of El Salvador and Guatemala on Sunday, April 24 at 4 p.m. PT. An exclusive presale for Earthquakes Season Ticket Holders will begin on Thursday, March 24 at 10 a.m. PT before tickets are made available to the general public on Friday, March 25 at 1 p.m. PT.

A look back on important moments in Quakes history that took place during the week of March 28 - April 3.
March 29, 2001 - Acquired Landon Donovan as an MLS Allocated Player
The Earthquakes acquired forward Landon Donovan as an MLS Allocated Player on March 29, 2001. The Redlands, Calif. native helped lead the Quakes to their two MLS Cups championships in 2001 and 2003. During his four seasons with the Quakes, Donovan was selected to the MLS All-Star team each year. Donovan ranks third all-time in goals scored for the Earthquakes with 32 in 87 appearances and is tied for eighth all-time in assists recorded for the club with 29. He is also ranked second in all-time MLS goals scored (145), behind former Quakes forward Chris Wondolowski (171).
EARTHQUAKES II UPDATE
Earthquakes II will make its debut in the inaugural MLS NEXT Pro season on Wednesday, March 30 when they visit Timbers2 in Hillsboro, Ore. Kickoff from Hillsboro Stadium is set for 7 p.m. PT and will be streamed live on MLSNEXTPro.com.
ACADEMY UPDATE
The Quakes Academy Boys' squads went unbeaten last weekend, with the U13s (W 7-0) and U14s (W 2-1) winning over the SF Elite Academy, while the U15s (W 2-1) and U17s (W 3-1) defeated Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday. Additionally, the U15s (W 4-0) and the U17s (W 2-0) played the Portland Timbers while the U14s (T 2-2) played FC Bay Area last Sunday.
The U15s and U17s will now face LAFC next Saturday, while the U13s and U14s will take on the San Francisco Glens. To stay updated on the Quakes Academy, follow their social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
