SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the team has waived goalkeeper Dan Benton.
Benton was signed earlier this year by the Earthquakes, but he did not appear in a regular season match. He appeared in three reserve division matches for the Quakes.
