Missoula PaddleHeads News Release
MISSOULA, MT- The Missoula PaddleHeads seemingly grabbed momentum behind a big push offensively in the 4th inning in the series finale opposite the Billings Mustangs. After holding a lead in the early going, the Mustangs would see their advantage disappear in a blink because of this offensive push. Thanks to a consistent attack in the early going however, the Mustangs would be able to gain momentum back themselves very quickly.
Billings would not allow the PaddleHead rally in the 4th affect them long term, coming back with a 4-run push of their own to grab the lead. The Billings attack would be very productive in the early going especially scoring in 4 of the first 5 innings offensively. The Mustangs bullpen would not allow the PaddleHeads offense to get much going down the stretch either allowing no runs after the 5th inning. This allowed Billings to hang on for a 10-7 victory to take the series over the PaddleHeads on the road.
