June 30, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
California Eagles News Release
Ventura County, CA. Robert Chiang, co-owner of the ABA California Eagles, announced today that the team is seeking a Head Coach and is ready to begin the interviewing process. According to Chiang, "It has been a time-consuming project getting details of the venue worked out. We were hesitant to hire a coach until we did. Now, we're ready and are looking for that experienced coach who can build a championship team."
Chaing added, "We know we're a little behind; most ABA teams have their coaches in place and are already conducting tryout camps. If you're a former NBA player or coach or a coach with NCAA experience or professional experience, and are looking to get with a top flight ABA team, please give me a call at 805 646 2221 - or email info@eagleslive.com or visit www.eagleslive.com or www.abalive.com."
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
