WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles and Pedersen Toyota Ft. Collins were proud to announce a joint check presentation to the PVH & MCR Foundation during the second intermission of Sunday night's game at the Budweiser Events Center.
The donation - in the amount of $25,000 - will go toward the completion of the University of Colorado Health Cancer Center at the intersection of Harmony Rd. and Timberline Rd. in Fort Collins. The state-of-the-art complex officially opened to the public last summer and helps patients and survivors of all forms of cancer in their fight against the disease.
University of Colorado Health broke ground Jan. 17, 2013 on phase two of a comprehensive and integrated cancer center in Fort Collins. The first patient was seen last June in the 30,000 square foot addition, with phase three set to open to the public on August 4, 2015. It is designed to provide patients in our community with one-door access to cancer treatment, research, support and survivorship services.
Funds were raised through the auction of game-worn, pink Eagles jerseys (worn during the Eagles "Hockey Fights Cancer Night" in January), as well as a portion of every new Toyota vehicle sold at Pedersen Toyota Ft. Collins during the month of January.
All three organizations would like to thank those who helped raise the funds through their purchases of jerseys and vehicles!
Tickets for the Eagles playoff series with the Ontario Reign are on sale now, with tickets to Game Four on Wednesday and Game Five on Friday starting at just $16 per seat. Contact the Eagles ticket office at 970-686-SHOT (7468) or visit www.ComcastTix.com to reserve your seats today and be part of the action!
