
Eagles Host Pittsburgh Friday Night

The Charlotte Eagles will continue the 2009 season by playing host to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds this Friday, May 29th at Charlotte Christian. The match will kick-off at 7 pm EST. The Riverhounds and Eagles are tied for seventh in the USL-2 standings with 5 points each.
Charlotte comes into the match with a 1-3-2 record while Pittsburgh will bring a 1-2-2 record into the contest. Last season, the Eagles tied the Hounds 2-2 in their first encounter in Charlotte, and then went on to win 2-1 later in the season in Pittsburgh.
Eagles General Manager Tom Engstrom noted "Pittsburgh is a quality team. Last year they played us about as well as anyone at home. The league is extremely competitive from top to bottom this year. It is still early but this is an important game for both teams."

Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for youth at the gate ($8 for adults and $5 for youth if purchased at www.charlotteeagles.com by midnight the day before the game).
