
Eagles donate food

Utah Eagles News Release
The Utah Eagles of the CBA, The Mick and Allen Show via Citadel Communication, and Associated Foods donated 4000 lbs of food to the Utah Food Bank, The Road House, and the open public over the holidays. The players went to various stores to pick up the food donated during the stores Share the Harvest program, and delivered the items for distribution before and after Christmas. Over 600 lbs were delivered to The Road House, which will pass the food along to needy families throughout the Wasatch Front. Over 3600 lbs was delivered to the Utah Food Bank, which is the primary meal distributor for needy families in Utah.
Associated Foods, including over 20 Macey's and Dan's Food Stores in Salt Lake and surrounding areas, collected food through November and December at their stores in agreement with the Utah Eagles. The Food distribution was tied into holiday giveaways on the popular Mick and Allen show in Salt Lake City.
