Eagles and Kickers at It Again

June 13, 2012 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Charlotte Eagles News Release

The Charlotte Eagles host the Richmond Kickers on Saturday, June 16 at Charlotte Christian at 7:00 PM. Just a week ago the Richmond Kickers squeezed out a 1-0 victory, after David Bulow notched the lone goal in stoppage time.

The Eagles will look to rebound after their tough loss and need to find a way to pull out a victory against their long time rival.

The Eagles continue to linger near the bottom of the table, ahead of Antigua and Dayton. The positives, over the past few games -- the Eagles have found combinations up front that have produced more goal scoring. Now the pressure is on to notch a few more marks in the win column.

The men's game is part of a doubleheader event that starts at 5:30 PM with the Lady Eagles hosting the Atlanta Silverbacks. The Eagles will be honoring all the 2012 host families, with a special presentation between games.

June 16 is also mustache night! Men if you have not started growing your mustache yet you better get going. Everyone with a mustache received a $5 tickets. The first 100 fans to the Eagles merchandise tent will get a free mustache. There will be opportunity to take photos at the Eagles Mustache Photo Booth.

A special notes to all our fans - Charlotte Christian is currently doing construction on the South parking lot. The South gate will not be open. There will only be two access points into the stadium; the West gate (Will Call) and the North gate.
